The brand name Code-Alarm has been synonymous with vehicle security since 1979, when we helped launch a new industry as the original manufacturer of remote control electronic vehicle systems.

Our attention to quality and reliability as well as our commitment to technology has made our company a recognized industry leader. We market our products through two distinct channels. The Original Equipment (OE) side of the house and the Aftermarket (Retail) side.

Our staff of engineers and technical specialists works closely with automotive engineers from the major auto manufacturers and their Tier 1 suppliers to conceptualize and develop new products for the OE market place. As a result of those programs, you can find Code products as original equipment on a variety of best selling vehicles; integrating with the complex electrical systems found in today's cars, trucks, minivans and sport utility vehicles.

Our OE experience has allowed us to offer retailers the best aftermarket program in the industry. Products designed specifically with the ‘high tech’ consumer in mind. You can find Code Alarm products at the best-known retailers and 12Volt Specialists.

Our products range from simple security systems to more sophisticated combination security and remote start and even one way paging systems. Soon to be introduced is a new vehicle tracking system that features the utmost in convenience features.

In 2001 Audiovox Electronics Corporation, (a wholly owned subsidiary of Audiovox Corporation) purchased the assets of Code Alarm and a new subsidiary, Code Systems Inc. was formed. The strong financial backing of Audiovox will allow the Code Alarm brand to continue in the tradition of excellence, which has been our hallmark.
